What is Thermage^®?
Thermage is an FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment for tightening skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It improves facial contour and promotes the growth of new collagen, giving skin a younger, healthier glow.

How does the treatment work?
Thermage delivers radio frequency deep into the skin heating the deeper layers of the skin while keeping the surface of the skin cool. This deep heat causes the skin to immediately lift and continue to tighten over the following months.

How many treatments are required?

The Thermage procedure is a completely non-invasive, safe treatment that is performed only in a medical office. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, the procedure may take as little as 20 minutes or up to two hours.

When will I see results?
Some immediate results may be visible, but most of the results develop gradually over time. Measurable tightening and contouring improvements appear gradually over a two to six month time period following a single treatment session.

How long will the effects of the Thermage^® procedure last?
The Thermage procedure immediately tightens existing collagen and stimulates new natural collagen production for up to six months following the treatment. Unpublished reports by experienced cosmetic doctors indicate that results may last for 2-3 years and is largely dependent on the patient's natural aging process.

Who are candidates for Thermage^®?
Thermage is ideal for those of any skin type who want to diminish fine lines.

Who should avoid Thermage^®?
Cold sore outbreaks may be triggered in those who have previous infections. Certain medications, such as Warfarin and steroids, have additional risks. Women who are breast feeding or pregnant may not be treated.

What are the alternative treatments?
Traditional methods, such as facelifts and injectables, may also be used to tighten the skin. Laser treatments may produce similar results. In many cases, Thermage is used in conjunction with these procedures for optimal results.

Is additional treatment necessary?
